New Client Information

Welcome to Shawsheen Animal Hospital! We appreciate your choosing us to care for your pet, and we look forward to meeting you both. Please spend a few moments to read the following information to be better prepared for your first visit, and let us know if you have any questions.

What Should I Bring?

At your first visit to our hospital, please bring your pet in a leash or carrier. This is for your pet’s safety as well as that of any other pets and owners in our waiting area. If you do not have a leash, we have complementary leashes available in our lobby. We do not allow retractable leashes for the safety of other patients.  Also bring your pet’s vaccination and other medical records from your previous veterinarian, if applicable.


Do I Need to Make an Appointment?

To best accommodate all of our clients and patients, we operate on an appointment-only basis. If you are unable to keep your appointment, we ask that you provide us with a 24-hour notice. We do our best to see all of our patients at their scheduled times, but emergency cases are seen on a priority basis. This may cause a delay in your appointment. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
