New Clients

Welcome to Shawsheen Animal Hospital! We appreciate your choosing us to care for your pet, and we look forward to meeting you both. Please spend a few moments to read the following information to be better prepared for your first visit and let us know if you have any questions.

What Should I Bring?

At your first visit to our hospital, please bring your pet in on a leash or in a carrier. This is for your pet’s safety as well as that of any other pets and owners in our waiting area. Also for your pet’s safety and that of our other patients, we do not allow retractable leashes in our lobby. Let us know if you need a leash and we’ll be happy to supply you with a complimentary lead you can use for your pet in our hospital.

You’ll also want to bring your pet’s vaccination and other medical records from your previous veterinarian, if available.

Do I Need to Make an Appointment?

To best accommodate all our clients and patients, we operate on an appointment-only basis. If you are unable to keep your appointment, we ask that you provide us with a 24-hour notice. We do our best to see all our patients at their scheduled times, but emergency cases are seen on a priority basis. This may cause a delay in your appointment. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and appreciate your understanding. Please either call us at (978) 851-5558 or request an appointment online.

What Is Your Payment Policy?

Shawsheen Animal Hospital accepts the following methods of payment for our services:

We do not accept personal checks.
